BuzzFest, organized for the fourth time this year by Kadıköy Municipality in Kalamış Atatürk Park, has started. The ice rink, which offers the opportunity to have fun not only to Kadıköy residents but also to all Istanbulites, will witness colorful images this year as well, and participants will enter the new year with BuzzFest enthusiasm.
BuzzFest, which was organized for the first time by Kadıköy Municipality in Kalamış Atatürk Park in 2020 and was met with great interest, will host its visitors this year between 30 December 2023 and 10 March 2024. The festival, which was visited by more than 100 thousand participants in the past years, will be open to all users over the age of 360 this year with its 75 square meter ice rink area, 30 meter slide path and 4 meter ice slide.
One of the two carpet areas in the Youth and Sports Center in Kalamış Atatürk Park was transformed into an ice rink using a special technology. The area where the other astroturf field is located has been turned into a Winter Carnival area this year, consisting of temporary shops where small tradesmen from Kadıköy can sell their works. BuzzFest will be open every day between 10 and 10.00 until March 22.00.
