Vakıf Katılım implemented the Foundation Works Inventory Project in order to keep the foundation works alive and carry them into the future. Within the scope of the project, 117 foundation works in Hatay, from past to present, were specially photographed in 2600 frames and collected together with their history in the Hatay Foundation Works book.

Continuing its work with the inspiration it receives from the foundation culture, Vakıf Katılım has initiated the initiative to create an inventory of foundation works from past to present. Foundation Works Inventory Project within He prepared the book Hatay Foundation Works.

As a result of a year of intense work, the book, in which 117 foundation works in Hatay were photographed in approximately 2600 frames and their histories were prepared by an expert team, is of great importance in transferring the works made with an admirable understanding and architecture to the future.

Mehmet Ali Akben, Vakıf Katılım General Manager, “As Vakıf Katılım, we believe that we have the responsibility to protect the Foundation tradition and transfer this culture to future generations. With this motto, before the earthquake, we implemented the Foundation Works Inventory Project in line with our motto 'Common Past, Common Future', and we started our first inventory study with the province of Hatay, which is admirable with its history and culture. "However, unfortunately, due to the earthquake, many of the works that we photographed and recorded are now either in ruins or heavily damaged."

Stating that they are ready to share these architectural detail photographs with authorized units if necessary, during the reconstruction of Hatay and the restoration of historical monuments. Akben, He continued his words as follows: “With some of the photographs taken, we want to relive and imagine the valuable foundation works of the '5 February Hatay Exhibition', which we organized at the Vakıf Katılım Mimar Sinan Gallery in Üsküdar, Istanbul, in photographic frames and to not forget Hatay, which bears traces from the history of civilizations.” “I think it is very important and valuable.”

New stop Konya
