BiTaksi, Turkey's first digital taxi calling application, introduced its new service “Big Taxi” to its users. Large taxis with a capacity of 8 passengers will provide comfortable travel within the city for crowded families and groups of friends. The fact that the new vehicles are designed for the use of individuals with special needs will allow the removal of obstacles in urban life.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, BiTaksi has launched a new service. BiTaksi, which has been serving its users in 3 different vehicle types as yellow, black and turquoise taxis to date, will provide a comfortable journey in the city for crowded families and groups of friends with the 'Large Taxi' option with a capacity of 8 passengers. At the end of the journeys made through the BiTaksi application, payments can be made in cash or by card. In addition, users will be able to easily access these taxis thanks to BiTaksi's wide driver network. It will be enough for users to update the BiTaksi application on their phones to activate this new feature.

Drivers received training for more than 15 days at the IMM Transportation Academy

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality started to issue Electronic Transportation Management License to brands and BiTaksi was the first company to obtain this license. With the decision taken at UKOME (Transportation Coordination Center) in October last year, the process of converting 1.803 minibuses and 322 minibuses into taxis started. In this context, the drivers of the 'Big Taxi' started to work after training in safe driving technique and navigation reading, English, occupational health and safety, first aid and sign language, which they received at the Transportation Academy of IMM for more than 15 days.
