Attention vehicle owners: Inspection obligation is eliminated for the first 3 years

TÜVTÜRK announced the changes in vehicle inspection procedures with the information message it shared.

TÜVTÜRK banned vehicles that have not been inspected from entering the traffic. On the other hand, the period for new vehicle inspections has been extended.

Examination will not be mandatory for 3 years.

In a new area, individuals will no longer be required to have an examination during the first 3 years. Previously, this period was determined as 2 years.

In the statement, it was stated that passenger car, tractor and motorcycle inspections can also be carried out at mobile stations.

In the new period, the exhaust emission measurement process was transferred to different authorized dealers. Thus, TÜVTÜRK aims to shorten the examination period and reduce the intensity.

It was informed that exhaust gas emission measurement was carried out only at fixed and authorized mobile stations.
