5-year plan from BMW: 40 new models will be launched

German manufacturer BMW announced that it aims to launch 40 new and updated models in the next five years.

Starting from 2024, BMW will focus on electric models and will be an important competitor for global electric car manufacturers such as Tesla.

However, the company will not give up on internal combustion engines. For example, the flagship 7 Series sedan will be updated, as well as the X5 and X3 SUV models.

German automotive giant BMW is preparing to expand its electric vehicle range in a gradual and planned manner.

Electric vehicle sales exceeded 1 million

The company announced that it has sold 1 million electric vehicles so far and experienced a 40 percent increase in electric vehicle sales in the first quarter of this year compared to the previous year.

As this momentum continues, electric models are expected to become BMW's main growth engine in 2024.
