Reached 6 percent market share in Türkiye and England
Opel closed 2023 with approximately 5,3 percent market share in the German domestic market. In the UK, the Vauxhall brand achieved a 6 percent market share. Showing a very successful performance in Turkey, Opel reached 6 percent market share and rose to the 3rd country position in the global rankings.
Opel's electric vehicle sales increased by 22 percent
Electric vehicles, the rising stars of the industry, have also attracted great attention from users. Opel, the brand that showed strong growth outside the European market (EU 29) last year, increased by 15 percent worldwide and reached a sales figure of 670 thousand units.
Stating that Opel demonstrated a very strong performance in 2023, Opel CEO Florian Huettl said, “Opel has recorded significant growth. We have achieved significant gains, especially in electric vehicles, C segment and light commercial vehicles. In addition, we managed to significantly increase our international activities. “This clearly shows that our strategy is working,” he said.
