Nissan e-POWER Technology Reaches 100 Sales in Europe - OtonomHaber

Nissan's unique and innovative technology e-POWER reached 100.000 sales in Europe. Providing an electric driving experience without the need for external charging, e-POWER technology lays a solid foundation for Nissan's electrification journey.

e-POWER technology, which achieves success with its silence and exciting driving experience thanks to the wheels being driven by 100% electric motors, offers a unique electric driving experience.

e-POWER technology, which has been on sale in Europe since September 2022 and in Turkey since November 2022, is included in the Qashqai and X-Trail models.

Since its launch on the European market in September 2022, Nissan's innovative e-POWER technology has impressed more than 100.000 customers. To date, 65.367 Qashqai and 34.663 X-Trail models equipped with this unique power have been sold in Europe. In Turkey, 5.810 units of Qashqai e-POWER and 1.636 units of X-Trail e-POWER were sold.

What makes Nissan's unique e-POWER technology different is that the wheels are driven only by the electric motor and these vehicles, which have their own unique dynamics, make a difference at every stage of the electric driving experience. This offers an effortless, smooth and quiet all-electric driving experience.

The gasoline engine in e-POWER technology only serves as a generator. When the electric battery has enough power, the electric motor that drives the wheels offers fully electric driving using only electricity from the battery. When more power is needed, the generator produces electricity to power the electric motor and charge the battery. In addition, power regeneration occurs whenever possible and the energy obtained from vehicle movement is sent back to the battery.

Nissan X-Trail with e-POWER technology was selected as the Car of the Year in Turkey by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD).

Feedback from e-POWER customers also shows that e-POWER technology has reached 100 thousand units sold and is a testament to the bold, innovative spirit of Nissan's product planning and engineering functions.
