Three different rail system projects are being carried out together
Mayor Tunç Soyer has made Izmir's largest metro investments since 2019 to strengthen the city's transportation infrastructure. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality provided our city with a facility that is exemplary for Turkey with an investment of 38 million liras. At the same time, Pako Stray Animals Social Life Campus, which was a home for 500 stray dogs, was put into service in Bornova Gökdere. In Turkey, a principle was signed and a food production facility was established to feed the animals under protection in Pako Stray Animals Social Life Campus and other shelters. 18 thousand kilograms of dog food was produced in the facility, which was put into service recently. The Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out many services from adoption to neutering, has neutered 5 thousand stray animals in the last 82 years.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality implemented the Izmir Culture Fund (IzKF) project, a first for local administrations in Turkey, to increase the culture and arts capacity in the city and to support the cultural and artistic actors of Izmir. Izmir.Art, the meeting point of the city with culture and art, was put into service as a Digital Art Platform and portable application. Kültürpark Atlas Pavilion Gallery, Konak Metro Gallery and Mustafa Necati Cultural Center were brought to the city. Izmir Cinema Office was established to undertake the facilitation role in cinema production projects in Izmir.
In 2021, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters opened its doors. The Historical Alhambra Stage opened on December 15 with the play "A Celebration of Disaster - Tavşan Tavşanoğlu" and became the second home of the City Theatres.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality launched the "Street Artist Card" application for artists who want to freely exhibit their creativity on the street. Many new national and international art festivals were brought to the city. The 100th Anniversary of Our Independence Commemoration Residence and the Village Institutes Memorial and Culture Residence were opened. 1 new libraries were opened, including 2 digital, 2 mobile and 8 ferry libraries. Additionally, within the scope of the "A Library for Every Neighborhood Project", libraries were established in 31 headmen's offices with 392 thousand 51 donated books.
