The naturally aspirated engine produces 84 horsepower and is only combined with a five-speed manual transmission. Another petrol engine option of the new i20, the 1.4 MPI unit offers 100 PS maximum power and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Offering a 1.0 T-GDI engine for those who want more performance, the Hyundai i20 includes the "Continuously Variable Valve Time (CVVD)" technology in this unit.
