The European Motocross champion, who took part in the MXGP Turkey organization, became Italian Andrea Bonacorsi from Yamaha with 393 points. Dutch Kay Karssemakers from Husqvarna finished second with 334 points, and Dutch Cas Valk from Fantic finished third with 305 points.

Dutchman Cas Valk from Fantic won the first race in the 9th stage of the European Motocross Championship in Afyonkarahisar. After Valk, Italian Andrea Bonacorsi from Yamaha took second place and Dutch Kay Karssemakers from Husqvarna took third place.
