Nick Cassidy has joined Jaguar Racing for the 2024 season.

The New Zealand driver raced with Envision Racing in the 2023 Formula E season and achieved four wins. Cassidy finished the season in second place, just behind champion Jake Dennis.

Cassidy's performance caught the attention of Jaguar Racing and the team signed him for the 2024 season. Cassidy will replace Sam Bird at Jaguar.

Cassidy says he is excited to join Jaguar and wants to win a championship for the team. “I look forward to racing for a team with a successful motorsport history like Jaguar,” said Cassidy.

Cassidy will team up with Mitch Evans. Cassidy and Evans are childhood friends and have competed together for years. Cassidy said he is proud to race alongside Evans and wants to continue to make New Zealand prominent on the motorsport map.

With Cassidy joining Jaguar, the team will be in a stronger position for the title. Jaguar has won two Formula E titles so far, and that number could rise if Cassidy joins the team.
