Aston Martin Team Principal Mike Krack: The 2026 Rules Are A Risk
Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack said the new powertrain rules, set to go into effect in 2026, pose great risks.
In an interview with Racefans, Krack said, “Yes, we're worried too. All teams are worried about that.” said.
“I think the engine manufacturers together with the FIA created the new rules, believing that the chassis would comply. But then we saw that it required some radical changes to the chassis design.”
“In fact, it is technically possible. That is why we must work together to get this work done for the benefit of all.”

Krack is confident that Honda will deliver a powerful power unit in 2026.
"I'm very sure of that because from what I've seen Honda is a great company and consists of real racers."
