New Volkswagen Tiguan: Render images reveal the final design

Volkswagen is preparing to introduce the new generation Tiguan. The German automaker gives details about the model quite often and hides almost nothing. Two unofficial renders reveal the crossover's camouflaged parts, giving a preview of its final design.

The new generation Tiguan exhibits a smoother design than the model it will replace. It includes a large lower grille on the front bumper. New render images remove the remaining camouflaged parts of the popular SUV, revealing a wide light bar between the headlights. This detail is likely to be found in the final production version.

VW's render image depicting the rear gives the SUV a bold, full-width rear light element. This feature was spotted in a completely obvious example, a photo shoot. The lack of camouflage reveals the square rear bumper design.

There are no render images of the interior of the Tiguan. The company also shared images of the interior when it previewed the renewed exterior design of the crossover. The SUV offers a large, horizontally oriented display on the dashboard for entertainment functions. This screen will be available in different versions as 12.9 and 15.0 inches. A smaller 10.25-inch screen will be located behind the steering wheel and will act as the driver's display.
