McLaren ready for second half of season

McLaren entered the season with positive momentum thanks to the progress made in the last races. The team will now start the second half in Zandvoort and Lando Norris is looking pretty positive ahead of the weekend.

In a statement today, Norris said: “We're finally back!”

“I had a great time during my summer vacation, vacationing with my friends and family, and of course playing some golf.”

“Now I feel refreshed and ready to race again.”

“We will go to Zandvoort first. This is a really fun track with lots of oval sections that allow for different race lines.”

“There is every zamThe moment is a great atmosphere, which will make the weekend even more exciting.”

“The team did a great job developing the car in the first part of the season and I will be returning to the factory this week to work with the team to maintain that momentum.”

"Although it's a tough track, we will try to give our best and bring points to the team."

Oscar Piastri also looks ready for the second half of the season.

“I can't wait to get back to the tracks after the summer break. I had a good time on vacation, enjoyed the sun and feel energized again before entering the second half of the season.”

“The Dutch GP is next. Zandvoort will be a new track for me. That's why I spend time in the simulator with the engineers to prepare for the weekend as much as possible.”
