According to the numerical data released by the research office called AlixPartners, China has become the number one automobile exporter in the world, especially thanks to the very high increase in automobiles exported to Russia.
In this context, Chinese automakers exported 1,07 million cars in the first three months of the current year, leaving the neighboring country Japan behind. In the first quarter of the year, 112 thousand vehicles were sent to Russia. This number is almost equal to the number of vehicles exported to this country in the whole of 2022. Chinese manufacturers have filled the vacuum after Western automakers have stopped exports to Russia since the war with Ukraine began.
