Pirelli and Lamborghini Collaboration
In cooperation with Pirelli and Lamborghini, special 21-inch, 22-inch and 23-inch P Zero tires and 22-inch Scorpion Winter 2 tires were developed for the new hybrid SUV version, Urus SE. During a long and intense joint development programme, the tires were tested in a variety of conditions, from speeds in excess of 300 kilometers per hour on the Nardò circuit in Italy to driving at -30° in the Arctic Circle. Each of the four new tires carries the Elect marking, which refers to Pirelli's technology package that supports the features of electric cars.
P Zero Tires
Three different sizes of a P Zero tire were developed specifically for the new Lamborghini Urus SE. While comfort was emphasized in the 21-inch version, the most demanded 23-inch version focused especially on performance. Thanks to special development of profiles and materials, the tires are designed to withstand the high torque demands of the Urus. Additionally, overheating and wear of the tires were minimized, increasing durability.
Scorpion Winter 2 Winter Tire
Scorpion Winter 2 represents Pirelli's latest winter tire update for SUVs. This tire, which guarantees safety especially in cold weather and snowy conditions, offers long-lasting and effective performance thanks to its 3D tread pattern. A special compound tested in the Arctic Circle increases driving safety by strengthening the tire's grip.
The new tires complete the product family developed for the Lamborghini Urus. The products that emerged as a result of Pirelli's years of R&D studies contribute to the performance and safety of Urus. These products include summer, winter and all-season tires.
