Mercedes' Electric Vehicle Sales Increased 3 Times

Mercedes-Benz, the leader of the premium segment, continues its leadership with sales of 2024 units in the first quarter of 6.550. Stating that this year started very quickly after the record sales in the sector in 2023, Mercedes-Benz Automotive Executive Board and Automobile Group Chairman Şükrü Bekdikhan said, “As the automotive industry, we predicted that the market would reach its normal level by the end of 2023. However, when we look at the first quarter results, we see that there is an increase of more than 75 percent compared to the same period last year. During this period, as Mercedes-Benz, we increased our sales by 220 percent. Another data that pleases us here is that our electric vehicle sales increased by over 16 percent. "In addition to our rich product range, we aim to introduce new models to the market and make more than 2024 percent of our sales in 20 be electric models," he said.

Approximately half of the electric vehicles sold are EQB

Stating that they aim to put the electric G-Series on sale in Turkey in the third quarter of 2024, Bekdikhan said, “Our model with the highest sales increase in 2023 was EQB. It became the leader in its segment by accounting for approximately half (1.064 units) of our 518 electric vehicle sales in the first quarter. In particular, our EQB 250+ model increased its sales figures with its range of over 480 km and prominent technologies. In addition, EQS is also a leader in the premium segment. With the arrival of the electric G-Class, we will increase the number of electric models. He underlined his goals by saying, "We want to continue to play a leading role in the spread of electric vehicles in Turkey."
