BMW Group announced its financial performance for 2023. The group's profit before interest and tax (EBIT-EBIT) increased by 2022 percent since 32, reaching 18 billion 48 million Euros. This figure was recorded as the highest value in the company's history. Revenues increased by 9 percent and reached 155 billion 498 million Euros.
Automobile Sales and R&D Expenditures
BMW Group, which increased its car deliveries worldwide by 11,7 percent to 2 million 661 thousand 922 last year, made 14,7 percent (375 thousand 716) of these sales from electric cars. Electric vehicle sales increased by 74,1 percent compared to the previous year. BMW spent 2022 billion Euros on R&D in 7,53.
2023 Expectations and Forecasts
The BMW Group expects a slight increase in sales this year and a slight decrease in pre-tax profits due to changing conditions in the second-hand market. The group includes brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, and last year it achieved more sales than the Mercedes Automobile Group for the first time.
