Leapmotor, an electric company based in Hangzhou, is a company with nearly 30 years of experience in electronics and artificial intelligence technologies. Producing fully electric vehicles, Leapmotor attracts attention with its SUV C11, sedan C01, 5-door city car T03 and coupe S01 models.
The company has recently taken part in the Turkish market and launched the 5-door city car T03 model.
Production Plans in Europe: Stellantis and Leapmotor Collaboration
Stellantis, which includes major brands such as Fiat, Peugeot, Opel and Citroen, purchased 20 percent of the shares of Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor for 1.5 billion euros last year. Thanks to this cooperation, Leapmotor's presence in Europe has been strengthened and production plans have accelerated.
Stellantis plans to use the Tychy facility in Poland for the production of Leapmotor in Europe. The Leapmotor T03 model, which will be produced at the Tychy facility, will quickly enter the European market. Models such as Fiat 500, Fiat 600, Jeep Avenger, as well as Alfa Romeo's new model Milano, will also be produced at the Tychy facility.
