Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri ve Civarı Elektrik Türk A.Ş. participated in the opening ceremony of K-Şarj Electric Vehicle Charging Station, which was put into service by Hunat Enerji company. Mayor Büyükkılıç, who inaugurated 10 charging stations, 50 of which are fast charging, heralded that K-Charging stations, which cost 35 million TL, will be provided with a 20 percent discount by KCETAŞ.
While the energy industry is going through a major change and transformation, the accessibility and proliferation of charging points come to the fore, especially with the increasing use of electric vehicles. In this context, Hunat Enerji, one of the 51 companies in KCETAŞ, in which Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality is a 5 percent partner, implemented a very important project branded as K-Şarj.
Hunat Enerji K-Şarj Electric Vehicle Charging Station Opening Ceremony, held next to Talas Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Park, was attended by Mayor Büyükkılıç, Grand National Assembly of Turkey National Defense Commission Chairman Hulusi Akar, AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm, Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, KCETAŞ General Manager. Stating that he also gave instructions for the Solar Power Plant-supported charging units project in the National Garden, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Electricity is produced with Solar Power Plant projects abroad, and parking lots are placed under it to charge. "I gave my instructions for such a process, I instructed the construction of solar power plants and the addition of charging units on our parking lots in our National Garden," he said.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç heralded that K-Charging stations will be provided with a 20 percent discount by KCETAŞ and continued his words as follows:
“For those with electric vehicles, K-Charge is the cheapest company in Turkey that charges electricity in this area. We met with Mr. Hidayet, we said, 'We made a discount on water, you should also make a discount on charging units', he said, 'OK, sir'. Starting tomorrow (March 19) morning, you can charge your vehicles for 20 percent cheaper. While we are waiting for it to spread all over our city, we are working on Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Park, Gevher Nesibe Park, the park next to Melikgazi Municipality, the park next to Tuna AVM, the parking lot in front of Köşk Social Life Center, the place in front of Bünyan hydroelectric power plant and Necati Kurmel boulevard in Develi. Stating that the K-Şarj Electric Vehicle Charging Station is an investment of 35 million TL, Büyükkılıç said, “We have opened 10 charging units, 50 of which are fast charging.
