Citroen Jumper Introduces New Driving Support Systems

Citroen Jumper has been offering innovation to all professionals, from tradesmen to large fleets, by increasing the comfort of drivers and the performance of businesses with its different generations since 1994.

For nearly 100 years, Citroen has been offering a range of durable and innovative commercial vehicles designed to suit the specific needs of different businesses.

Citroen embodies this picture with its light commercial vehicle models, including iconic models such as TUB, the pioneer of modern commercial vehicles, and the famous Type H, C25 and Jumper. At this point, the new generation Citroen Jumper, celebrating its 30th anniversary, carries the success of previous generations into the future with a more modern design, advanced connectivity features and high-level practicality. Jumper, which has enabled Citroen to support all businesses for 30 years, continues its epic journey as a more innovative model with its new generation.

When it was introduced in January 1994, the Jumper made an unforgettable impression by bringing passenger car-level design, comfort, ergonomics and driving pleasure to the light commercial vehicle market. With the first generation Jumper, Citroen took into account the needs of business owners who spend long hours in their vehicles. Offering a wide range of engines, including gasoline engine options and a 2,5 liter turbodiesel with three valves per cylinder, which is a very suitable solution for heavy loads, Jumper was introduced to the market with a total of 58 different versions with different body types.

Jumper burst onto the scene in the early 2000s with a new design and, more importantly, two advanced technological engines. These engines were the direct-injection turbo-diesel 2.2 HDi and the dual-fuel petrol/LPG 2.0i. Jumper attracted attention with its innovative features such as the variable shock absorber driver's seat, camera and rear parking sensors, which were offered for the first time in its segment.

In 2006, Citroen launched a new model that better meets the needs of different businesses. The new design combined modernity and practicality, including integrated steps in the bumper that made cleaning the windshield easier. The HDi diesel engine range has been expanded with three power options: 100 HP, 120 HP and 157 HP.

Citroen recently introduced its new Jumper model. The new generation sheds light on vehicle owners interested in business to overcome the restrictions that are becoming more and more difficult at this point and to meet the expectations. For greater driving comfort, two of the three new BlueHDi engines: 6 HP, 120 HP and 140 HP, paired with a 180-speed manual transmission in the Jumper, are offered with an automatic transmission option for the first time.

The new Jumper hits the road with an advanced equipment level that provides users with the best working conditions, such as an electric parking brake that offers more comfortable use compared to a manual one, a digital rearview mirror that also provides comfort and safety, and hands-free entry and operation. New driving support systems such as Driver Fatigue Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection also make drivers' lives easier.
