Electric Wagoneer S is getting ready to come to light. Jeep, the cult brand of the SUV world, announced that its first electric vehicle for the US market, Wagoneer S, will be available this fall. Although Jeep has launched its first all-electric vehicle, the Avenger, in Europe, the Wagoneer S will be Jeep's first model to launch its electric push in the US.
The Jeep Wagoneer S electric is said to represent the brand's speed, striking design and modern style. It will have a standard 4xe capabilities with all terrain management. With 600 horsepower, the Wagoneer S will be “lightning fast,” accelerating from 3,5 to 0 km/h in approximately 100 seconds. Jeep is targeting a range of around 1km with Rivian's R640S (Dual Motor Maximum Package), which will be among the longest-range electrics this year.
In the latest leaked teaser, we can see how the iconic Jeep design has evolved in the modern era. This includes the iconic redesigned 7-slot Jeep grille with illuminated LED lights. Jeep leaked the first images of the Wagoneer S on social media before its official launch and then quickly deleted them. Jeep will begin producing the electric Wagoner this year, with U.S. sales starting this fall. The brand plans to expand to other important markets after its US launch.
