Swift, one of Suzuki's most popular models, has appeared with its new generation. The model, which has an important place in the European market, was finally officially introduced after the concept version. The new Swift attracts attention with both its design and equipment.
How is the Design of the New Swift?
The new Swift maintains a similar design language as the current model. However, Japanese engineers have made some changes to make the model more modern and stylish. For example, LED headlights are now standard. Additionally, 16-inch aluminum wheels are also included in the option list. The color of the model is called “Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic”. Additionally, there is an LCD panel in the middle of the analog instrument panel. Suzuki states that it has also strengthened the insulation of the model.
The new Swift is also assertive in terms of security. The model comes with standard equipment such as traffic sign recognition, ACC, fatigue detection system and blind spot warning.
How is the Engine of the New Swift?
The new Swift will be sold with only a single engine option in the European market. This engine is a 12-liter gasoline engine codenamed Z1.2E. This engine works with a 12V mild hybrid system. The power of the engine is announced as 83 hp and the torque is 112 Nm. The maximum speed of the model is stated as 170 km/h.
The new Swift comes with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. However, a CVT transmission option is also offered for those who want it.
What is the Price of the New Swift?
The new Swift is offered for sale in Germany with a price tag of around 17.000 euros. The price of the model in Türkiye is not yet known. However, it is expected to be higher than the German price due to taxes and exchange rate difference.
