Audi RS6 GT Caught on Spy Cameras!

Audi is working on a new model to continue its success in the SUV segment. Although the RS4 and RS6 models have won the appreciation of customers with their strong performance, Audi is preparing to offer more. The RS2019 model, codenamed C8, which was released in 6, will soon have a brand new version. The name of this version will be RS6 GT.

The RS6 GT will be offered in both sedan and station wagon body options. It will also attract attention with its design details inspired by the RS6 GTO concept. Spy photos released today give clues about what the RS6 GT will look like.

Different Design Details of RS6 GT

The RS6 GT prototype seen in the spy photos, although covered in plenty of camouflage, reveals some different design details. On the front bumper, vertical air intakes and front lip attract attention. On the rear bumper, there is a three-piece diffuser and oval exhaust outlets. There are also red AudiSport stickers on the rear doors and trunk. These decals emphasize the sporty character of the RS6 GT.

In the rear design of the RS6 GT, the position of the reflectors has also changed. In the current RS6 models, the reflectors are located on the edges of the bumper, while in the RS6 GT they are positioned above the exhaust outlets. Additionally, the RS6 GT appears to have a lower suspension than the RS6 Performance.

Powerful Engine of RS6 GT

At the heart of the RS6 GT will be the 6-liter V4 engine, which is also used in the RS8 Performance. However, this engine will be developed specifically for the RS6 GT and will produce more power. While RS6 Performance offers 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, over 6 horsepower is expected from the RS650 GT. This power will make the RS6 GT unrivaled both in the SUV segment and in the European market.

What is the RS6 GT? zamIt is not yet clear when it will be introduced and released. However, spy photos show that the development of the RS6 GT is in its final stages. So we may see the RS6 GT officially very soon.
