Audi Q6 E-Tron Started to Shed Its Camouflage!
Audi is preparing to launch its electric SUV model Q6 E-Tron in 2024. The new body of the model was revealed in spy photos. The Q6 E-Tron will be offered in both standard and Sportback versions. Additionally, a more powerful SQ6 E-Tron model is on the way.
Q6 E-Tron Will Be the New Member of the E-Tron Family
Q6 E-Tron will be the new member of Audi's electric vehicle family. The model will have similar design features to the Q4 E-Tron and E-Tron models. However, the Q6 E-Tron will be similar in size to the Q5 model. The front and rear design of the model can be seen in spy photos that have started to shed their camouflage. At the front, there is a large grille, sharp headlights and a sporty bumper. At the rear, the thin taillights, trunk lid and diffuser attract attention.
The Q6 E-Tron will be offered in both standard and Sportback versions. The Sportback version will have a coupe-like roofline. This version will offer a more dynamic appearance. Both versions are developed on a new platform called PPE. This platform will also be used in the electric version of the Porsche Macan.
Q6 E-Tron Will Also Offer a Hybrid Engine Option
Q6 E-Tron will be offered with both standard and hybrid engine options. The standard version will produce 380 hp. The hybrid version will be named SQ6 E-Tron and will offer 490 horsepower. This version will be able to reach 517 hp with temporary boost. SQ6 E-Tron will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Q6 E-Tron will be able to charge its battery from 800% to 270% in half an hour with its 10 Volt infrastructure and 80 kWh charging support. The range of the model has not been announced yet. However, it is said that the PPE platform will offer a 100 kWh capacity battery and provide a range of 600 km.
Q6 E-Tron, What ZamWill it be available for sale?
The Q6 E-Tron will be available in 2024. The price of the model is not yet clear. However, it is expected to be more expensive than the Q5 model. Q6 E-Tron will increase Audi's claim in the electric vehicle market. The company aims to offer more than 2025 electric models by 20. These include models such as Q4 E-Tron, E-Tron GT, RS E-Tron GT and A6 E-Tron.
