Stellantis Will Produce Factory Second Hand Vehicles!

Stellantis Group became the second automotive giant to participate in the "ex-factory second-hand" concept, after Renault. The group will transform the Mirafiori facility in Italy into a "circular economy center" with an investment of 40 million euros. In this center, the life of vehicles and parts will be extended, remanufactured, reused and recycled. In this way, it will contribute to Stellantis' goal of becoming net carbon neutral in 2038.

Stellantis Adopts the 4R Concept for Circular Economy

Stellantis adopts the 4R concept to take the concept of sustainability to the next level: Reman (remanufacturing), Repair (repair), Reuse (reuse) and Recyle (recycling). These concepts play an important role in preserving the value of vehicles and parts, using resources efficiently and protecting the environment.

To implement these concepts, Stellantis launched an initiative called SUSTAINera. This center will be established on an area of 73 thousand square meters and will employ 2025 people by 550. Additionally, this center is expected to generate revenues of more than 2030 billion euros by 2.
