BYD revealed the design of its new SUV model Sea Lion 07
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has published the drawings of the new SUV model Sea Lion 17, which it will introduce at the auto show to be held in Guangzhou, China, on November 07. The brand's design, inspired by the Ocean-X concept, bears the signature of former Audi designer Wolfgang Egger.

Now, as the new member of this series, an SUV model named Sea Lion 07 appears. Sea Lion 07 uses the brand's new generation electric vehicle infrastructure called e-platform 3.0.
BYD Sea Lion 07 has a sporty and dynamic design
The design of the Sea Lion 07 comes from the brand's Ocean-X concept. Ocean-X was an electric sports car concept introduced by BYD in 2022. Sea Lion 07 can be described as the SUV version of this concept. At the front, a large grille, sharp headlights and an aggressive bumper attract attention. On the side, a dynamic roof line, wide wheel arches and sporty rims can be seen. At the rear, there are details such as LED taillights, dual exhaust outlets and spoilers.
BYD Sea Lion 07 will be positioned below Song L
BYD recently introduced a new SUV model called Song L. Song L was described as the flagship SUV model of the brand. Song L's starting price was announced as 220.000 Yuan (863 thousand TL). The price of Sea Lion 07 is expected to be around 190.000 Yuan (745 thousand TL). Thus, Sea Lion 07 will be a model that will be positioned under Song L.
