Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain: Modern design, powerful engine and off-road capabilities
Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the All-Terrain, the off-road version of the E-Class family. The E-Class All-Terrain, which winks at modern Mercedes models from the outside, hides incredible surprises under its skin.
The All-Terrain has some differences from its sedan sibling. The first of these differences appears in the grille. The terrain-oriented model uses two horizontal elements in its louver in Iridium Silver. The model, which will come with 18-inch wheels as standard, will also be available with 19- and 20-inch wheels.
The terrain-oriented model comes with only one engine option. The All-Terrain, which will be on sale with the E 450 4Matic version, uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged and semi-hybrid engine. The E-Class All-Terrain uses Mercedes' exclusive Airmatic air suspension system as standard. This suspension system helps the vehicle maintain ground clearance regardless of its weight. The E-Series All-Terrain will be able to approach the ground exactly 1.5 cm in Comfort mode.
All-Terrain has a system called “Off-Road Driving Program”. When you switch to this program, the digital instrument panel and the main screen become suitable for off-road driving. You can see the compass, latitude and longitude coordinates, angle indicator and tire air pressure on the screens. In addition, the 360-degree camera allows you to observe your surroundings comfortably.
Let us remind you that the model is a station wagon. So the E-Series All-Terrain will offer practicality as well as these capabilities. The model, which will offer a volume of 614 L with the seats in the upright position, can increase this volume up to 1.829 L when the seats are in the horizontal position.
