Schumacher says he has more support at Mercedes than at Haas

Mick Schumacher, who started his F1 career with Haas with the help of Ferrari, lost his seat after having some problems with the team in his second season.

Schumacher, who left Ferrari after losing his seat, is working as a Mercedes test and reserve driver this year and is waiting for an opportunity to come back.

It can be said that Mercedes has been very good to him, as a matter of fact, the team uses him more actively than a token test driver.

Being aware of this situation, Schumacher says that the support he has already found in Mercedes is much more than Haas.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Schumacher said: "I can see how things are supposed to work at Mercedes, I've never had the opportunity to see that in my two years at Haas." said.

“If you do not give sufficient support to a pilot, you cannot expect him to perform adequately.”

“No one will come to you with flowers, you have to choose the flowers yourself. I am aware of that.”

These words of Schumacher can be interpreted as a response to the criticism of Haas team boss Gunther Steiner. Steiner had criticized Schumacher many times before and attracted attention with his statements that "he is in F1 because he is a Schumacher".

It is a matter of curiosity whether Steiner will respond to these statements. However, if Schumacher is successful at Mercedes, these criticisms of Steiner seem to lose even more force.
