The 2024 model BAC Mono has a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine tuned by Mountune. This engine produces 311 hp and 313 Nm of torque. These figures are slightly higher than the current model. In addition, Mono's weight has decreased by another 10 kilograms and is now 570 kg.
The Ford engine can turn 8.000 rpm. It transmits all of its power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. BAC says that the vehicle accelerates from 0-96 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest models among road vehicles.
Mono has a 41:59 weight distribution. It also comes with Pirelli Trofeo R tires specially designed for the Mono and a new suspension system.
Next year, the manufacturer will add Ford's EcoBoost 2.3-liter turbo engine to the list. This engine is expected to be available for sale, especially in regions with much stricter emissions regulations.
