Mercedes-AMG Introduces 2024 SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur
Mercedes-AMG introduced the 2024 SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur. This limited-edition special model was designed for the USA only and has a unique interior and exterior look.
Appearance
The SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur is coated with Manufaktur Orange Flame Metallic paint. Black brake calipers, 21-inch black wheels and details from the AMG Exterior Chrome Package have been added to contrast with the addition of a black roof. The SL63 also carries an AMG emblem on the front, which we can say is a first for the SL model.
Indoor
In the Manufaktur upgrade, Mystic Red/Black Nappa leather is used for the interior. This color combination is found on the seats, steering wheel, armrest, center door panels and instrument panel. The special model draws attention with carpet floor mats embroidered with AMG logos and chrome "Manufaktur" lettering on the center console.
Engine and Performance
Beneath the engine of the 2024 SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur is a biturbo 63-liter V4.0 engine, identical to the model's standard AMG SL8. This engine can produce 557 horsepower. The special model transmits power to the vehicle's AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive system, thanks to its nine-speed automatic transmission. This cabriolet model can accelerate from 3.5 to 0 km/h in just 98 seconds, while it can accelerate to 315 km/h in an electronically limited way.
Manufaktur Program
The launch of the SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur also marks the launch of the Manufaktur program for the AMG SL series in the USA. US customers will have more customization options with the 2024 model.
