Lamborghini SC63 LMDh Test Continues

Lamborghini SC63 LMDh has completed the second test of the vehicle, which will start racing in 2024, in Imola. In testing, the Lamborghini Squadra Corse was driven by drivers from the in-house motorsport department and the Iron Lynx team, who will be using the car exclusively for the WEC and long-distance IMSA races next year.

According to Lamborghini's statement, the focus of testing at Imola was calibration and data collection. This included the first track development of the 63-liter biturbo V3.8 developed by Squadra Corse for the SC8.

Further tests are scheduled for the remainder of August at Paul Ricard and then Spa-Francorchamps. Lamborghini plans to move the test program to the USA as of September, with the second chassis coming into operation.

Developed on the next-generation Liger LMP2 chassis, the SC63 is scheduled to make its debut at the WEC opening lap in Qatar early next March.
