The 49th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation was celebrated with ceremonies held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Within the scope of the ceremonies attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Dr. An official parade was held on Fazıl Küçük Boulevard. President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar made the opening speech of the ceremony, which took place with great participation. In the ceremony, which was held with the participation of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the TRNC state protocol, as well as the yellow Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli and many politicians took part.
The ceremony was concluded with the official parade in honor of 20 July Peace and Freedom Day. At the official parade, the TRNC's national and domestic car GÜNSEL also greeted the public. During the transition of GÜNSEL, "GÜNSEL, the domestic automobile of our country, which is the product of the knowledge, experience and scientific production of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" was announced.
In his speech, President Ersin Tatar said that projects based on advanced technology, such as GÜNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, show the way the country has come since the Cyprus Peace Operation.
