Two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Eric Vergne, one of the shining stars of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, took his place on the podium by finishing the second race of the Formula E Berlin E-Prix in third place in his piloting with the DS E-TENSE F23. DS PENSKE maintains its fourth place in the Teams' Championship thanks to Jean-Eric Vergne, who secured his third place by scoring important points in the Drivers' Championship, and Stoffel Vandoorne, who brought valuable points to his team in Berlin. With 16 out of a total of 8 races completed in the championship, DS Automobiles Driver Jean-Eric Vergne continues to harbor potential for a new championship in the second half of the season, trailing the leader with just 19 points.

2018 and 2019 champion Jean-Eric Vergne once again showed his class on the Tempelhof Circuit after his impressive fight in the first race in Berlin. Jean-Eric Vergne finished fourth in qualifying on the wet track. He constantly struggled for the lead with the strategy made on the dry track in the second race. Thanks to the successful energy management of the whole team, at the end of the 40-lap race, he finally reached the third step of the podium. Stoffel Vandoorne, who was knocked out by an opponent in the first race, was determined to score points in the second race on Sunday. The last world champion Belgian pilot, who successfully completed his task, managed to finish the race, which he started in the ninth place, in the eighth place.

DS PENSKE's effort in Berlin helped him secure fourth place in the Constructors' Championship before heading to Monaco, the next of the season and the most famous race on the calendar, on Saturday 6 May.

Last Formula E Champion Stoffel Vandoorne; “It was a tough day. First of all, we did qualifying on a wet track and it was not easy to make the right tire choices. Still, we managed to get to a reasonable ninth on the starting line. Then we had a very strategic race in dry conditions where no one wanted to lead. In order to be competitive with the car, I had to struggle a little more than yesterday. So I focused on avoiding any collisions and getting the car to the finish line. In the end, I was able to go up one position and finish eighth,” he said.
