Turkish Motorcycle Federation President Bekir Yunus Uçar stated that the World Snowmobile Championship will make a great contribution to winter sports and tourism in Turkey. Stating that the race will be held on a 350-meter-long track specially prepared in the Tekir Kapı Region of Erciyes Ski Center, Uçar said: “Our area in Erciyes is one of the world's leading ski resorts. Regarding the lack of awareness of snowmobile races due to them being the first in Turkey, Uçar made the following assessment: “Our athletes competing in the motocross and enduro branches are more inclined to snowmobile races because they compete with the track and nature. Emphasizing that they will show Turkey's presence in snowmobile races to the world, Uçar said, “Our athletes will show their performance on snowmobiles on an international scale for the first time and meet their new rivals. After this race, we will send our athletes to the stages of the World Snowmobile Championship in other countries.
