MotoGP kicked off the second half of the season at England's Silverstone Circuit after a four-week summer break. Silverstone, one of the most enjoyable and popular tracks on the calendar with its fast corners, fluid structure and the famous "Maggots and Becketts" section, was held this time under heavy rain.
Classic British air greeted the drivers in the qualifying session and the session was held in heavy rain. In this session, where even heavy rain tires were pushed to their limits, pole position went to Marco Bezzecchi. Alongside him on the grid, Jack Miller and Alex Marquez will complete the first line.
