Tesla Model Y Maintains Its Lead, Doubling Its Competition Results
At the very top of the list, we clearly see the Model Y from the US-based technology giant Tesla, which is also officially sold in the Turkish market. Thanks to its continuously rising global sales figures in recent times, the Model Y has fully managed to reclaim its top spot. In May, the giant model reached a total sales figure of ninety-three thousand five hundred and seventy-one units, practically doubling the sales of its second-place competitor.
The Rest of the List is Under Invasion by Chinese Automotive Manufacturers
Just below the top of the list are strong Chinese brands, all entirely of Far Eastern origin, besides the American Tesla brand. In second place is the popular Geely Xingyuan model, with 46,483 units sold. Third is the Tesla Model 3, with 44,237 global sales. These successful models are closely followed by the BYD Song and BYD Yuan electric models, respectively.
