Togg, the Turkish-made car, continues to receive new features. The new 2.1.1 (21.1.40) software update for Togg T10F vehicles introduces V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology, allowing for the transfer of electrical power from the vehicle to other devices. Newly delivered Togg T10F models come with this feature activated in the 2.1.1 (21.1.40) software. Existing Togg T10F owners will be able to use this feature with an upcoming software update.
It is unknown whether the V2L feature will be available on the T10X. The T10F user manual includes information about the V2L feature, but the T10X user manual does not mention V2L.
What is V2L? What is it used for?
V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology means that electric vehicles share the energy in their batteries with other electrical devices. Simply put, it turns your car into a high-capacity portable power source.
Thanks to its V2L (Vertical Transfer Case) feature, you can charge other vehicles, use equipment like coffee makers, mini-fridges, and lighting systems at campsites, and operate electric grills and speakers at picnics. You can even connect a TV to your vehicle and enjoy an outdoor movie night with your friends. Furthermore, you can charge devices like laptops and work remotely with the Togg T10F. In short, you can power devices that normally use a standard household outlet from the Togg T10F.
The V2L adapter will be sold separately.
Togg T10F owners need not only update their vehicles but also use a compatible V2L adapter. The Togg T10F compatible V2L adapter will be available for purchase through the Trumore mobile application in the coming days. You can also use V2L adapters from other brands. You can use electronic devices with a standard household outlet by drawing power from your T10F using the V2L adapter.
