Porsche, through its Exclusive Manufaktur department, has unveiled the 911 GT3 Artisan Edition, designed exclusively for the Japanese market. This special series, limited to only 30 units, pays homage to traditional Japanese handicrafts. The vehicle draws inspiration from Japan's traditional glassblowing and indigo dyeing techniques.
Offered in white body color, the model features Club Blue graphics and light blue details on the rear fenders. The gradient livery of the exterior design incorporates design elements representing airflow and the passage of time. The front wheels are painted white, while the rear wheels feature carbon fiber aero covers with a mesh-like pattern reminiscent of Japanese glasswork.
Interior Design and Technical Specifications
Inside, leather details with Speed Blue and white stitching extend to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The seats feature a custom indigo-dyed pattern. Although traffic flows on the right in Japan, this special edition is produced only with left-hand drive.
The car is equipped with the Manthey Kit, which takes the performance of the 992.2 GT3 model to the next level. This kit includes four-way adjustable coilover suspension, aerodynamic updates that offer increased downforce, and track-focused brake improvements. The naturally aspirated flat-six engine, producing 507 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, is paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The engine can rev up to 9.000 rpm.
Price and Accessory Collection
Porsche has not yet announced an official price. However, given the Manthey trim and limited production run, the car is expected to have a price tag exceeding the standard 911 GT3 price in Japan, which is 28.680.000 Yen. Along with the car, the Wearable Heritage Collection accessory line, which complements the indigo theme, is also offered. The collection includes t-shirts, long-sleeved tops, Puma sneakers, and jackets.
