The Honda PCX 125 (DLX) model, manufactured by Honda Turkey at its factory in Aliağa district of İzmir, went on sale in the Turkish market today. The starting price of the new motorcycle has been set at 189 TL.
Expected to achieve high sales figures in urban transportation, the model stands out with its technical specifications. Honda states that the new motorcycle has a design focused on both fuel economy and performance.
Technical details and performance
The motorcycle is equipped with a 125 cc, water-cooled SOHC engine with four valves and Smart Power Plus eSP+. This engine, featuring Stop Start technology, produces 11,7 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm and 9,2 kW of power at 8.750 rpm.
The model boasts impressive fuel efficiency, consuming approximately 2,1 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in WMTC mode. Combined with its 8,1-liter fuel tank capacity, this low consumption provides a range of approximately 385 kilometers on a single tank.
Honda's eSP+ engine architecture, incorporating low-friction technologies, is specifically designed to increase efficiency. Furthermore, Honda's Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system prioritizes safety by supporting road handling during driving.
Safety and comfort features
In terms of safety, the front wheels feature an ABS-assisted disc brake system. A disc brake system is also present at the rear, preventing wheel lock-up during sudden braking and ensuring a safe driving experience on slippery surfaces.
The design details feature stylish wheels and a double-layered steel frame chassis. This structure increases durability in city driving while providing high maneuverability and a comfortable riding position.
The suspension system uses telescopic forks at the front and double wishbone arms with reservoirs at the rear. This combination aims to offer users high comfort and performance, even during extended use.
