Bozankaya, a manufacturer of electric public transportation vehicles, will participate in Busworld Turkey, which will be held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center from June 17-19. According to a company statement, Bozankaya will showcase its sustainable transportation vision and advanced engineering capabilities with its 12-meter, 100% electric bus, which will be on display for visitors throughout the fair. Continuing its projects both in Türkiye and globally, Bozankaya contributes to cities' goals of reducing their carbon footprint with its environmentally friendly, highly efficient vehicles that prioritize passenger comfort.
In a statement including his remarks, Bozankaya Chairman Aytunç Günay stated that they stand out in sustainable urban transportation with their electric buses, trolleybuses, trams, and metro systems developed in their modern production facilities in Ankara. Günay emphasized that Busworld Türkiye is one of the most important meeting points for the public transportation sector, adding, “This fair is of great importance both for bringing together industry professionals and for sharing our innovations in the field of sustainable mobility.”
Günay emphasized that they contribute to the transformation of cities with the innovative technologies they develop, and stated that their new generation electric buses, which they will exhibit at the fair, will attract great interest from visitors with their high technology, energy efficiency, and passenger-oriented design. Günay noted that thanks to their strong R&D infrastructure and engineering capabilities, they develop solutions tailored to the needs of different cities and operators, and that they continue their work with the goal of becoming one of the leading players not only in Türkiye but also in the world in sustainable transportation technologies.
Trolleybus Exports to Romania and Czech Republic
Günay emphasized that with the vehicles they develop, they reduce the environmental impact of cities while also contributing to economical and efficient transportation systems, and shared the following information regarding the wheeled vehicle projects completed in the first half of the year:
“A total of 33 trolleybuses, 8 of which are 12-meter and 25 of which are 18-meter, produced for the city of Timișoara in Romania, were delivered in the first half of 2026. Simultaneously, all 30 12-meter vehicles we produced for Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, were delivered in May of this year. With these deliveries, Bozankaya trolleybuses have now begun serving passengers in major European cities. We are achieving a strong position in the European market with our environmentally friendly, high-tech, and sustainable public transportation solutions. The projects we have successfully implemented in Romania and the Czech Republic are a significant indicator of our engineering capabilities, production quality, and international competitiveness. In the coming period, we aim to continue growing with our innovative transportation solutions in different markets, primarily in Europe.”
