Stella Li, the CEO of Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD, announced that the construction process for the planned factory in Türkiye has been suspended. Li stated that the factory being built in Hungary will begin production in the fourth quarter of the year.

PRIORITY GIVEN TO THE HUNGARIAN FACTORY.

Responding to questions from Reuters at its UK headquarters in London, Li outlined the company's current priorities.

Li, “Currently, our first priority is Hungary, and our second priority will be finding a location for a second (manufacturing) facility in Europe."He used expressions.

THERE IS NO TIMELINE FOR INVESTMENTS IN Türkiye.

BYD has stated that construction has not yet begun on its production facility investment in Türkiye, which was announced two years ago.
