GR RacingIt is more than just a reinforced hatchback. With its body structure, four-wheel drive system, and driving-focused design, it transfers Toyota's motorsport expertise to mass production and positions itself differently in Türkiye.
Rally drivers and professional motorists actively participated in the development process. Handling, balance maintenance, and driving feel were reshaped in light of this feedback. It was created by applying data gained in the racing world to mass production, deviating from a traditional road car development process.
The engine's brain is a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit producing 280 HP and 345 Nm of torque. The 6-speed manual transmission promises a more direct and dynamic experience for drivers in Türkiye.
GR-FOUR The four-wheel drive system, also known as 3D, optimizes the power balance according to the terrain and enhances road grip. Thus, power is used through a transmission that enriches the driving experience.
In addition to the standard version, a special aerodynamic version will also be offered. This package includes parts developed with rally-inspired thinking: a new bonnet with wide air ducts, a large front spoiler, an adjustable rear spoiler, and improved underbody air deflection systems, all of which enhance cooling efficiency and high-speed stability.
Developed with the contributions of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, this special package places the GR Yaris's driving characteristics in a sharper balance between track and road, and is supported by improved aerodynamic performance.
