MG, under the SAIC Motor umbrella, has officially announced its new electric SUV model, the MG 4X. Available for pre-order in the Chinese market, the vehicle has a starting price of approximately $14.700. The model, notable for its price-performance ratio, utilizes a semi-solid-state battery in its long-range version.

The MG 4X embodies the brand's new design language. At the front, a closed grille, light strips extending along the sides, and slim LED headlights define the car's character. Air intakes along the bumper edges give the vehicle a sporty look. From the side, the multi-spoke wheels and traditional door handles are noticeable; at the rear, the full-width headlights are striking.
MG 4X dimensionsDimensions: 4500 mm length, 1849 mm width, 1621 mm height, and 2735 mm wheelbase.

Horizon's signature in autonomous driving. The MG 4X's intelligent driving system was developed in collaboration with Horizon. The system offers advanced driving aids such as NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) with highway support and automatic parking assist. This makes the vehicle a cost-effective and technologically advanced option.
The cabin features a two-tone, modern design. The driver-focused cockpit has a spiral architecture and is equipped with digital instruments, a large floating multimedia screen, and phone integration developed in partnership with MG and OPPO. This integration allows for quick and seamless connection between the smartphone and the vehicle.

Two different engine options Offered in both standard and long-range versions, the MG 4X stands out. Standard Version It has a 125 kW (168 HP) electric motor and a 53.9 kWh capacity LFP battery, offering a CLTC range of 510 kilometers. Long Range Version It produces 150 kW (201 HP) of power and promises a CLTC range of 610 kilometers with a 64.2 kWh manganese-based semi-solid-state battery.
Semi-solid-state battery technology is a key feature that sets the MG 4X apart in this segment. MG continues its growth in Europe. And last February, it announced that it had achieved the distinction of being the first Chinese car brand to surpass the 1 million sales mark in Europe.
