Tesla continues its infrastructure investments in Türkiye without slowing down. The company has officially commissioned a new station in Kırşehir, adding another link to its Supercharger network in the country. According to information shared via Tesla's official X account, this new station in Kırşehir serves users with a total of 8 charging units.
This new hub is of strategic importance, especially for electric vehicle owners traveling between Ankara and the eastern provinces and the Cappadocia region, as it largely eliminates range anxiety during long journeys.

This strategic move addresses the lack of charging infrastructure along the route connecting the Central Anatolia Region to the east.
A Critical Crossroads for Central Anatolia: Kırşehir
One of the biggest concerns for electric vehicle users, the problem of finding charging stations on intercity journeys, is gradually becoming a thing of the past with Tesla's expanding network.
Due to its geographical location, Kırşehir sits on one of the busiest transit points connecting the east and west of Türkiye. For drivers traveling from Istanbul or Ankara to Kayseri, Nevşehir, Adana, or other eastern provinces, Kırşehir is an ideal rest stop to recharge their batteries. Tesla's choice of this location allows users to plan their journeys much more flexibly and conveniently.
With 8 new charging points, waiting time is over.
The new station's eight charging sockets minimize waiting times, especially during peak periods like holidays or the summer months.
Thanks to Tesla's advanced Supercharger infrastructure, vehicles approaching the station gain hundreds of kilometers of range in minutes, depending on their battery capacity and current charge level. These systems, capable of providing 250 kW or more of power, can increase the battery capacity of compatible vehicles from around 10% to 80% in approximately 15 to 25 minutes. This allows drivers to take a short coffee break while their vehicle is ready for a trip.
The electric vehicle ecosystem in Türkiye is strengthening.
Tesla's entry into the Turkish market has led to significant activity not only in Model Y sales but also in infrastructure investments. The Supercharger network, already operating in key locations such as Edirne, Istanbul, Bolu, Ankara, and Izmir, is expanding deeper into Central Anatolia with the addition of Kırşehir.
Moreover, these stations are not only open to Tesla vehicles, but also serve other electric car brands that have a CCS charging port.
Great Advantage for Togg and Other Brands Too
The new 8-socket Supercharger station in Kırşehir offers a significant advantage for Togg and other electric vehicle users, whose numbers are increasing daily on Turkish roads.
The convergence of the entire industry on a common charging standard makes it possible for all electric vehicle owners, regardless of brand, to benefit from these high-speed charging stations. Following this new investment in Kırşehir, Tesla is expected to open new stations in different regions of Türkiye, especially along the Mediterranean and Black Sea coasts.
