The Toyota Yaris Cross, a long-time favorite in Europe, is back with a facelift. It stands out in the compact SUV segment with enhanced design and technology-focused updates. Produced at the French manufacturing plant, the new Yaris Cross is notable as the latest manifestation of the brand's Kaizen philosophy. Launched in 2021, the model maintained its title as Toyota's most preferred vehicle in the continent with sales of approximately 200 units by 2025.

The most striking change at first glance is the completely redesigned front end. The honeycomb grille, matching the body color, and updated LED headlights give the vehicle a more modern and sharp character. The 17 and 18-inch wheels offered in higher trim levels elevate the look. Inside, the perception of quality has been enhanced; platinum details used on the door panels and dashboard create a premium atmosphere the moment you step inside. While the mid-level trim features sports seats with increased comfort and lateral support, the top trim level boasts semi-leather upholstery and eco-friendly SakuraTouch fabrics. This special fabric achieves up to 95% CO2 savings in the production process.
There are also significant improvements in terms of hardware. Ambient lighting, wireless charging unit, and electric tailgate are now offered in a wider range of options. Automatically folding side mirrors are also standard on all versions. In terms of performance, the Hybrid 130 system stands out, producing 130 horsepower and 185 Nm of torque; it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 10.7 seconds, while fuel consumption ranges from 4.4-5.1 liters/100 km. In addition to front-wheel drive, the AWD-i all-wheel drive option enhances driving safety. For more economical users, the Hybrid 115 version continues to produce power; this version offers 116 horsepower with low consumption and emission values.

The most striking model in the series is the GR SPORT. This special edition, influenced by Toyota Gazoo Racing, promises a dynamic driving experience with its sporty design details and tuned suspension system. The unique design of the front bumper, 18-inch wheels, and sports seats with red stitching easily distinguish this version from the standard models.
On the technology side, the Yaris Cross continues to be a strong contender. The Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system offers cloud-based navigation, advanced voice commands, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Safety technologies, including Toyota T-Mate and Toyota Safety Sense, take driving assistance to the next level.
