Hyundai Motor Turkey is now offering its C-segment i30 model with a 1.6-liter T-GDI petrol engine option. This turbocharged unit delivers 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT transmission. This combination increases the i30's top speed to 206 km/h and reduces its 0-100 km/h acceleration time to 9,2 seconds.
With the new engine, the driving characteristics gain vitality, and the pulling power becomes noticeable from the mid-range revs. It offers a balanced driving experience in both city and long-distance driving. The transmission's fast and smooth gear changes also prioritize driving comfort.
The interior design features a 10,25-inch digital instrument panel and a 10,25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility making daily use easier. Other practical features include a panoramic glass roof option and USB Type-C ports with a wireless charging unit.
In terms of safety, the Hyundai Smart Sense package offers active driving assistance systems: Forward Collision Avoidance Assistant (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Alert (LFA), Intelligent Speed Limiter (ISLA), and Rear Occupant/Occupancy Alert (ROA). Offered in Turkey with two trim levels, Prime and Comfort, the i30 achieves a competitive position in the C segment with this new engine option.
