Opel is preparing to strengthen its fully electric, performance-oriented GSE family with a new member. This time, the Corsa stands out with its sporty lines and electric infrastructure; the model following the Mokka GSE aims to offer driving pleasure and everyday usability under one roof in the compact class. The new Corsa GSE is planned to go on sale in 2026.

The German manufacturer is adding a new model to its lineup of fully electric performance vehicles bearing the GSE badge, this time offering a structure built on the existing Corsa platform. The Corsa GSE is introduced as a new alternative that combines sporty character with a zero-emission driving experience.

According to Opel, the Corsa is one of the brand's most important models. Executive Florian Huettl stated that despite its compact size, the Corsa is agile and practical, while the letters GSE symbolize fully electric high performance and superior dynamism. Huettl added that the new model will adopt the approach seen in the Mokka GSE, explaining that this version is developed on the basis of the current generation and adds dynamic design details with the GSE enhancement label.

The company emphasizes that the Corsa GSE will offer a performance-oriented driving experience not only in terms of design but also with its fully electric infrastructure. This positions it as one of the top-tier electric alternatives in the small car segment. The GSE driving experience is expected to be available soon for Corsa users. Details such as technical specifications, power data, and range will be shared later during the development phase.
