Aerodynamics, Downforce, and Racing Technology
The most striking feature of the Track Kit is the manually adjustable front splitter and diffuser combination. This configuration, supported by dedicated air intakes under the oil cooler and diffusers in the wheel arches, provides excellent grip on the front axle.
At the rear, there's a manually adjustable rear wing inspired by the BMW M4 GT3 and GT4 models. This wing features a special **"Race Mode"** that maximizes aerodynamic efficiency by shifting the wing 50 millimeters backward. In "Road Mode," it fully complies with German road traffic regulations (StVZO). The wing's angle of attack can be adjusted in two different stages according to the track characteristics, maximizing stress on the rear axle.
Chassis Dynamics and Damping System
Developed by M Performance specialists, the gear-tuned chassis houses the first suspension system to combine motorsport requirements with road regulations. The 4-position rebound and compression damping system, combined with adjustable support bearings, delivers sharp cornering control. Furthermore, the vehicle's center of gravity can be optimized by lowering it steplessly by up to 20 millimeters at the front and rear.
Lightweight Exhaust Option for M2 CS
Another attractive option offered to new BMW M2 CS owners is the M Performance exhaust system.
