Denza has unveiled the Z9 GT, a refreshed model in its ambitious luxury segment. According to the company, this electric sedan can achieve a CLTC range of 1.036 kilometers on a single charge. This represents a significant increase compared to the current Z9 GT's approximately 630-kilometer range, reinforcing its claim as one of the world's longest-range all-electric cars.
Official statements indicate that the Z9 GT will be offered with two battery packs: a 102 kWh pack promising approximately 820 km of range, and a 122 kWh pack offering 1.036 km. The same batteries are used in the standard Denza Z9 sedan, providing a range of around 1.068 kilometers. However, these figures have not yet been independently verified.
New Z9 GT It not only offers fully electric driving, but will also be available in a plug-in hybrid version. The hybrid option features a 64 kWh battery, which increases the electric driving range to 400 kilometers. This is significantly higher than the 201 km electric range of the current Z9 GT PHEV model.
The interior features a luxury-focused design; with separate 12,3-inch screens for the driver and passengers, and a massive 17,3-inch touchscreen in the center. Equipped with BYD's advanced God's Eye 5.0 driver assistance system, the vehicle also offers driver assistance features such as Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) and Automatic Emergency Steering (AES). In terms of dimensions, the Denza Z9 GT is comparable to the Porsche Panamera, measuring 5.195 mm in length, 1.990 mm in width, 1.480 mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 3.125 mm.
While pricing information has not yet been released, the current Z9 GT starts at approximately 354.800 yuan in China, which is around $51.700.
Note: The official sales status and pricing for the new model will be updated once clearly announced by the manufacturer.
